In regions where theft of composite wheels poses a significant challenge, Anti-Theft nuts in Hathras (or fasteners, as applicable) are available in India or are readily fitted by vehicle manufacturers. These nuts require a unique connector ("key") between the nut and the wrench for fitting and removal. Typically, each set of nuts has its own unique key. Usually, only one locking nut per wheel is used, so they are sold in sets of four. While most designs can be defeated using a hardened removal tool employing a left-hand self-cutting thread to grip the Anti Theft nut Manufacturer in Hathras, more advanced designs feature a rotating outer ring to thwart such methods.
In India, most vehicles are equipped with Anti-Theft nuts Hathras. Older methods of removal involved hammering a slightly smaller socket over the locking wheel nut to remove it. However, with the newer design of Anti-Theft nuts, this is no longer feasible. Removal nowadays requires specialized equipment not readily available to the general public, thus helping prevent thieves from acquiring the tools needed to remove the Anti-Theft nuts themselves.
Operation: When the nut is tightened clockwise, the ball moves along the arc-shaped blind groove, causing the nut's plastic inner sleeve to automatically disengage. When loosening the nut counter clockwise, the radial aspect of the blind groove gradually decreases, trapping the ball in the thread, preventing the nut from being loosened and thus thwarting theft.
